Interpersonal relationships regulated by law are of great importance to modern Europe. The values which law is based upon will be the topic of the House on the Rock “Axiology of Law for the Europe of Tomorrow” conference organised by the Ordo Iuris Institute and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas. The event will place in Rome and will be attended by prominent experts from various fields.
Important issues related to law, philosophy, sociology, economics, politics and ethics will be discussed by researchers from many different countries, including Italy, France, Germany and Poland. Popular Polish publicists such as Paweł Lisicki, Łukasz Warzecha and Grzegorz Górny will help moderate the event. The list of speakers includes Cardinal Zenon Grocholewski, Chantal Delsol, Bishop Juan Ignacio Arrieta, Elisa Grimi, Krzysztof Szczucki, Father Jarosław Krzewicki, Advocate Jerzy Kwaśniewski and Doctor Tymoteusz Zych.
The conference is targeted primarily at researchers and students, as well as those interested in the subject matter, which is of great importance to the future of Europe. The conference takes place on 29 and 30 November at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome.
“This conference is born out of concern for the future of Europe, which must rediscover its identity and place it on sound foundations built of permanent, unchanging and eternal values in order to survive. Being aware of their existence, as well as having the knowledge regarding them is in the best interest of both present and future generations,” says Father Jarosław Krzewicki, lecturer at the Angelicum and one of the organisers of the conference.
